What's in a name? What the hell does Salta Mai even mean? Some say she was an ancient Filipino princess from pre-colonial times. Others have suggested it was an experimental compound known for its restorative powers. The truth may be even more mysterious (or it really may not be).

Whatever the etymology of the band's name, we're currently three gentlemen and a lady from the North West of England named Jeff, Mark, Phil and Cat, coalescing around the great musical city of Liverpool. We've been playing together as a band since 2013.
